If you have our letter in your hand, here's the deal.
Most of our business comes by mail. We send letters to homeowners whose mortgages — based on publicly available records — might benefit from today's rates. Here's everything you should know before you call.
We are not your current lender. AMIC is an independent mortgage company that has been licensed and operating since 2003. We're not affiliated with whoever services your loan today — that's why our letter says "Advance Mortgage" instead of your bank's name.
How we got your information. When a mortgage is recorded with your county, certain details become part of the public record. We use that data to identify homeowners who may benefit from today's rates, and we send a letter. That's it. No phone scraping, no purchased lists, no social media tracking.
What the reference number does. It lets us pull up the publicly available information about your current mortgage so we can show you an accurate side-by-side comparison in a single call — without you having to dig up paperwork. Have it ready when you call, or enter it in the application to start online.
Why we sent it. Because, based on what's publicly available about your loan, the math suggests refinancing may save you money. We could be wrong — and if we are, we'll tell you that on the call instead of trying to sell you something else.
